Under Armour CEO Praises Trump's Business Skills. Leftists Rage!
I'm losing track of who should be boycotted and why, but apparently Under Armour is on the list now. The company's CEO Kevin Plank had something to say about President Trump that wasn't calling him a stupidhead meaniepants...
“He wants to build things. He wants to make bold decisions and be really decisive. I’m a big fan of people that operate in the world of ‘publish and iterate’ versus ‘think, think, think, think, think’, so there’s a lot that I respect there.”"To have such a pro-business President is something that is a real asset for the country."
Oh dear. What have you gone and done?
CTRL+ALT+OUTRAGE...
The company, at least for now, is sticking to its guns...
“At Under Armour, our culture has always been about optimism, teamwork, and unity. We have engaged with both the prior and the current administrations in advocating on business issues that we believe are in the best interests of our consumers, teammates, and shareholders. Kevin Plank was recently invited at the request of the President of the United States, to join the American Manufacturing Council as part of a distinguished group of business leaders...We have always been committed to developing innovative ways to support and invest in American jobs and manufacturing.”
As if I didn't already like the company! Granted, some people are anti-spending a lot of money on gym clothes, but UA's fitness apps are on point. But none of that is the issue here. The issue is the insane way leftists expect businesses to go to war with a president...who ran saying he was going to help businesses create jobs and prosper because that's how America prospers.
Also, can someone please point me to what offensive words Kevin Plank uttered? I didn't see them. He acknowledged the president built things. Like as a business man. Which was what he was prior to being president. If Plank had commended Hillary Clinton for successfully bundling millions of dollars from nations which supported terrorism, would anyone have batted an eye?
Oh. Oh, so maybe bundling millions of dollars from nations which support terrorism is offensive? And building hotels isn't? Gosh, this is getting so confusing. One would think hotels would be less controversial than taking in foreign monies. Silly me.
Back on topic: meeting with the president to discuss issues is what grown-ups do. Please let grown-ups get to work, and stick to running around with a crocheted vagina on your head.
