Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Poll Numbers Show High Unfavorable Rating
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a divisive figure. Anyone to the right of Pol Pot is probably not gonna look upon "Crazy Eyes" Cortez favorably. The latest polls are confirming as much. Her unfavorable rating is higher than a dreadlocked dispensary worker at Burning Man:
A new Gallup poll finds Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a 31% favorable rating and a 41% unfavorable rating. This makes for a -10 point net favorability rating (favorable - unfavorable).
It wasn't always this way for Ocasio-Cortez. After she burst onto the national scene last year -- when she defeated Rep. Joe Crowley in the Democratic primary for New York's 14th district -- her favorable rating (24%) was nearly on par with unfavorable rating (26%) in Gallup's polling. But as Ocasio-Cortez has become better known, her unfavorable ratings has gone up far faster than her favorable ratings.
Aw, that's sad.
Since these voters are getting to know Alexandria, they're bailing on her. Faster than a gaggle of kiddos running away from Kevin Spacey's schoolbus. People are seeing Arachnid Oceanographic-Complex for the brainless Lenin-loving turdlet she is. It's about time.
I can't say any of this is surprising. Alex runs around yelling "I'm like the boss of everyone" and threatening to nix airplanes and cheeseburgers. Not many people are gonna go along with those ideas. Unless, of course, we're talking eco-vegan commune dwellers who ramble all day about the many uses of hemp.
A lot of people who were alive when the Soviet Union was a thing have an unfavorable view of socialism. Alex might be about to learn this lesson the hard way. Her radical anti-capitalist ramblings aren't gonna do Cortez any favors among non-commies.
Since we're on the subject of 'ol Nina Pinta:
