Since Parkland, people from all sides are proposing solutions to stop mass murders in schoolhouses. Leftists think banning the boomsticks will magically make murder-happy douchelords less dickish. Non-dumbasses, on the other hand, favor plans that work and don't use the Constitution as a rectal cleaning implement.

Andrew Pollack, father of a Parkland victim is in the second group. He wants tighter school security to stave off criminal dickweeds with hand-cannons:

You'll remember the other lefty who made that mistake with Kyle Kashuv. It seems leftist foot-in-mouth syndrome is becoming an epidemic. Sure, progressives could leave the smug douchebaggery out of their tweets, but where's the fun in that. Much better to dial the self-righteousness up to eleven and let their a-hole flag fly.

Little things like this are telling. Leftists tend to jump into a debate without a complete handle on the situation. No facts or stats, just the unwavering belief that every position they hold is gospel. Which, all too often, leads to copious amounts of cringe.
