Playing possum for gun control wasn’t enough of a far left pander for Andrew Cuomo. Chris Cuomo’s more mentally challenged bro just paroled a convicted cop killer. As one does when one wishes to be just a tad more useful than, say, rabies. Presumably, all this is to prepare for his soon-to-be-failed presidential campaign. Andy being the wokeAF Mr. Potato Head that he is.
Failing schools, NYCHA, Rikers, what do they all have in common? They have mostly minority populations and they are all being abused.
I see my job as Governor to put my thumb on the scales for social justice.

Really, Chris Cuomo’s less capable brother should stick to outdoing illegal immigrant California’s track record to become America’s most embarrassing state (see Gov. Andrew Cuomo Pardons Criminal Illegals to ‘Protect Their Families…’ and Pandering Moron Andrew Cuomo Claims He’s an Immigrant. He Was Born in NYC…). There’s at least competition in that game. Maybe Andy could set an underwear factory on fire. Say he was protesting gender norms.
Because letting a cop-killer walk doesn’t have the same touchy-feelies as protesting for the rights of, say, gender-non-binary hermit crabs.
In 1971, Herman Bell killed NYPD officers Joseph Piagentini and Waverly Jones. Piagentini’s widow, Diane isn’t amused:
Letting a cop-killer out of prison is a betrayal to police officers who are putting their lives on the line now. It is a betrayal to the citizens of the United States to let killers out among us to kill again.
Bell should have gotten the death penalty back then. Why are they letting him out? How can they let this man out on parole when he has denied what he did to my husband for 40 years? I cannot fathom it.
I can. This is Herman Bell. I linked it there so you could guess first. Make some guesses. Then click the link. Maybe Cuomo is pandering to a “hot button” issue right now. Just a spitballing theory.
Herman Bell not only killed Officers Joseph Piagentini and Waverly Jones, but he killed a cop out West. That’s three police officers, and he’s getting out of jail.
My daughters grew up not knowing their father. They were 15 months and 3 years of age when their dad was killed.
I have two grandchildren. What do I say to them about this? What do I tell them when they get older and they understand how the system let them down?
Yeah but, Andy has to have some platform issues. Like how much he cares about racial injustice. Someone needs to tell the widow, in politics the formula is simple:
Political talking points geared toward a raging crowd > Justice
We as a country don’t agree on much lately. At least that’s what social media tells me. Also that we have a lot of funny cats. But I don’t care how much of a staunch criminal justice reformer you are. People who are convicted of killing cops should never taste freedom again. Period.
Sadly, the people who disagree are Democrat primary voters. They’re Andy’s target audience.
