Top 5 Times Australia Lockdowns Terrified Us in 2021

Australia might have been on your list of future vacation spots, but after 2021, you might want to rethink those plans. Not that I understand why you would want to visit Australia in the first place. Everything there is trying to kill you. Have you seen some of the snakes and spiders down there?!

But if the creepy-crawlies weren’t enough to convince you to steer clear of the land down under, maybe the tyrannical government will. Here are five reasons to believe Australia might be the homeland of the Fourth Reich after 2021.

5.) The “Freedom Pass”

The American left loves their euphemisms, but the Australian government should get an award for this one. In September 2021, Australia unveiled plans for the “Freedom Pass,” an app that Aussies have to download on their phone to prove they’ve been vaccinated so they can do, well, anything. Without the “Freedom Pass,” Aussies have no freedom of which to speak. The institution of the “Freedom Pass” robbed Australians of the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions and the freedom to do anything without the government’s permission. “If you want you life to continue close to normal, get your jab […] No vax means no ‘Freedom Pass’.”

4.) In the name of public health, no exercising and complete isolation, unless the government gives you permission.

Seeing as how COVID really hates fat people, it would seem counterproductive to limit exercise and staying healthy, but if governments are good at one thing, they are good at being counterproductive. That’s why Australians weren’t allowed to exercise for more than one hour per day, outside. And if forcing people to be lazy and get fat, thus making them more susceptible to a bad case of COVID, the government wanted to drive everyone insane via isolation. Without the government’s permission, people weren’t allowed to visit one another. To get permission to visit someone, one had to register with the state. Talk about a totalitarian regime!

3.) Australian army is called in to enforce health orders.

Prior to the institution of the “Freedom Pass,” the Australian army was sent in the supplement the police force, going door to door to ensure all citizens were complying with the government mandates. In addition to monitoring compliance, the police and military sought to fine any and all people and businesses in violation of the health orders, and in the next spot of our countdown, we’ll see just how off-the-rails crazy that got.

2.) Woman was thrown in a quarantine facility because her friend tested positive for COVID.

Australia obviously became a little irate over citizens attempting to exercise their freedoms, so they built some handy-dandy quarantine facilities to toss the sick into. Well, not just the sick people, I suppose, really anyone. I say that because Hayley Hodgson wasn’t sick with COVID, but the police still came to her house, blocked her route of escape, took her from her home, and locked her in a quarantine facility. I know, it doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense, does it? Well, as the camp guards would say, “Whether it makes no sense or doesn’t seem right to you, that is the line, and that’s what the law is, and that’s how it goes.”

1.) Here comes the New World Order

If all the previous moments on this list seem utterly insane and unconscionable, you probably missed this little bit. In another clip from about the time of the “Freedom Pass,” the Australian government let the cat out of the bag, said the quiet part aloud, and told every single citizen of Australia exactly what was going on and what to expect from them. You can argue that perhaps the comment detailing what could be expected in the “New World Order” was little more than a slip-up. But if it wasn’t a full-on admission, it was certainly a Freudian slip of epic proportions.

How bad will Australia be come 2022? Your guess is as good as mine. But it looks like fascist totalitarianism is back in vogue around the world, so I don’t imagine it will look pretty.
