'We're going to have some problems': Crowder shoots straight about a DeSantis vs Trump primary

There was a lot to talk about today regarding America's Governor Ron DeSantis. He recently destroyed members of the public health establishment and reprehensible doctors who have stated that they will provide "gender-affirming care" for young children. But DeSantis also had a pretty big announcement today, too.

After teasing yesterday that he would have an important announcement this morning, DeSantis took the podium, surrounded by members of the Florida law enforcement community, and announced that a state attorney had been suspended and replaced due to his vocal opposition to enforcing Florida laws, those regarding abortions and gender reassignment surgeries for children, in particular. The now-former state attorney Andrew Warren had also chosen not to prosecute several other crimes, and that sh*t doesn't fly in Florida.

DeSantis had several comments regarding the rule of law and the responsibility of elected officials to enforce those laws as enacted by duly elected representatives of the people.

After hearing DeSantis' comments, Steven had thoughts.

"I think you're watching the making of the next president."

However, he had some concerns, too.

"I just don't want to see Donald Trump go dirty on Ron DeSantis because if Donald Trump is losing the primary--[...] don't try to kneecap him and ruin it for the rest of us and burn this whole thing down. If Donald Trump does that, then we're going to have some problems."

I agree. I think there is a large swath of the Republican Party who is thinking the exact same thing. And while, as Steven said, we don't want to tell you who to vote for--you need to make those kinds of decisions yourselves--I would like to see Trump just throw is support behind DeSantis because I think he can beat absolutely anyone the left throws up as their newest garbage candidate. I also think DeSantis will be capable of getting things done if he were to make it to the White House.
