Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Tries Mocking Fox News' Coverage of Her

Corey Stallings
November 25, 2018

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just can't stop making her detractors' case for them. We crack funnies about her inability to say a smart thing. She counters by saying something that makes Forrest Gump look like a Rhodes scholar. Ocasio-Cortez tried mocking Fox News. It went as well as a blind woman painting fingernails.

Just look at this:

Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) mocked Fox News on Saturday for hosting a panel to discuss her wardrobe, joking that network hosts have made it clear that they are “far superior to and more intelligent than me.”

Ocasio-Cortez responded to a viewer who tweeted to her Friday night that Fox was hosting a four-person panel to discuss her shoes “in prime time.” The incoming lawmaker responded with Spanish song lyrics by musician Aventura translating to “No, it’s not love, what you feel is called obsession.”

A Twitter user quipped that Fox News would need to hire a translator to understand Ocasio-Cortez’s "roasts."

The Latina from the Bronx jokingly responded that Fox News “has made it clear that they are far superior to [and] more intelligent than me, who they’ve called a ‘little, simple person.’ ”

Uh, knowing how to speak Español is no indicator of having an excess of IQs. Here, watch: Holá! Dóndé está la biblioteca?

Let's not pretend Congresswoman Ornithology-Carbonite doesn't deserve the mockery. She hasn't even taken office yet and already she's neck-and-neck with "Crazy Joe" Biden for career gaffes. That would be impressive if she wasn't going to be one of the primary decision makers for 'Murica.

Even when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tries to counter the folks who mock her chronic foot-in-mouth disorder, she only proves us right. Maybe she should focus less on making lame comebacks and spend more time brushing up on economics. Learning about the "chambers" of government. Trying to figure out where she's going to come up with the greenbacks to pay for her free stuff. Just saying.

While we're on the subject:
