More keeps coming out about the anti-Israel resolution passed by the UN (see Netanyahu Spokesperson: Obama ‘Helped Craft’ Abominable Anti-Israel Resolution). Okay, so actually what’s coming out is less about the resolution, more about Obama stabbing Israel in the back for the entire world to see. Classy move, that.
Here’s Alan Dershowitz’s face-stomping Obama. Needless spoiler: he’s disagrees with the President’s position…
Some key pull quotes with appropriate gifs. Merry Belated Christmas:
What he did was so nasty, he pulled a bait and switch. He told the American public this is all about the settlements deep in the West Bank. And yet, he allowed he representative to the U.N. to abstain –which is really a vote for– a resolution that says the Jews can’t pray at the Western Wall, Jews can’t live in the Jewish Quarter [of Jerusalem] where they have lived for thousands of years. And he’s going to say, ‘Whoops! I didn’t mean that!’ Well read the resolution! You’re a lawyer, you went to Harvard Law School.
This will make peace much more difficult to achieve because the Palestinians will now say ‘we can get a state through the UN, we can get a state through the BDS movement,’ because this will encourage that. ‘We can get a state through the International Criminal Court,’ because this will encourage that. ‘We don’t have to negotiate, we don’t have to make painful compromises.’
Here’s the money shot…
He will go down in history, President Obama, as one of the worst foreign-policy presidents ever.
No disagreements on that score. But I do disagree on Obama’s domestic policies. Still, let’s not focus on where we disagree, but on where Dershowitz is right on the bitcoin.
What Obama did to Israel is worse than what football Lucy did to Charlie Brown. What Obama did to Israel is worse than what Kylo Ren did to Han Solo. What Obama did to Israel is worse than what Brutus did to Caesar.
Trying to cover all bases there. I think I hit the classical cartoon, sci-fi pop culture, and classic history. If I left out your demographic interest, you can take it up with management. Who’ll show you no sympathy. Much like Obama shows no sympathy for our great ally Israel. Full circle. I came to it.
Much as I dislike using bumper sticker slogans, this one seems appropriate– January 20, 2017: End of an Error.
