There's been storms of rage brewing ever since an Afghan robotics team was denied visas to the US for a competition. Their country of origin disqualified them for security reasons because... Well, Afghanistan (see NJ/NYC Bombing: Police Arrest 5 Afghans, One Still on the Loose). However, after plenty of spilled tears and some investigating, Trump intervened and granted the girls visas. Now they get to fulfill their dream of competing in America. To say they're excited is an understatement.

A team of Afghan girls who had been denied visas to attend a Washington robotics competition spoke of Donald Trump's support Thursday after US authorities changed course and allowed them to come.

US authorities had originally refused access to schoolchildren from a number of Muslim-majority nations to participate in the science contest, decisions that followed implementation of stricter visa policies under Trump.

But the US president urged a reversal following public outcry over the Afghan girls' inability to attend the event, according to US media, with the decision announced Wednesday. "The President of United States and the people of America supported us in this case, which shows that they have not forgotten us," one competitor, Yasamin Yasinzadah told AFP at the airport in Herat.

Not everyone is as excited though. Certain leftist bridge trolls (Slate) have been pounding away at their computers writing hate posts in response to the news.

You'd think the left would celebrate this victory. In Middle Eastern countries, girls tend to be more along the lines of baby makers and punching bags. After their naughty bits have been sliced and diced. Robotic engineers? Not so much. This is a major win for women who have been restricted and silenced by sexist Islamic oppression. Also, America gets to share in allowing them to put their hard work and skills on display in this competition. Everybody wins.

Except, apparently, liberal whine bags. Of course, had such an action been granted by Obama they would be singing his praises. Remember Clock Boy? Uh huh.
