Leftists have pinned all their hopes and dreams on the Mueller Report. To them, the report will is the smoking gun to finally lead the Orange Man out of the White House -- in handcuffs. Unfortunately, leftists are going to have their hearts broken all over again, this time by an ally, Jon Karl. Think 2016 Election Night level tears. Only moar.

Keep in mind, Trump embarrassed Karl this week. So it must have burned the reporter to admit this.

This is all building up to the Mueller report and raising expectations of a bombshell report. And there were investigations that were building of course over a year on this. People closest to what Mueller is doing, interactive with the special counsel, cautioned me, that this report is certain to be anti-climatic.

We’ve seen nothing from Mueller on the central question of was there coordination, collusion, with the Russians in the effort to meddle in the elections? Or was there even knowledge with the president or anybody in the campaign, with what the Russians were doing.

To be fair to Karl though, he has shown constancy in dealing with the previous administration.

I'm still giddy with excitement over the meltdown should the Mueller Report not literally say Donald Trump's real name is Vladimir Putin Jr. Which, based on the reporting heretofore, it will most certainly confirm.

The lesson here is not to hinge all your hopes onto one report which, after months of investigation, has revealed diddly squat.
