A lot of the "culture wars" we engage in over movies and sports can be fixed with better media training. If actors/actresses and athletes know that 98% of the reporters they talk to have a political agenda, they might starve the media of the partisan clickbait they are looking for. Exhibit Q of this is the Supergirl movie, where actress Milly Alcock allegedly said something, according to Vanity Fair, according to a Variety article about the Vanity Fair interview, according to a misleading tweet from Variety about the Variety article about the Vanity Fair interview.
