Surprise! ObamaCare Costs Rising Higher and Higher. The Numbers...
We've heard the same story for years how ObamaCare was going to drive down costs. Well folks, it looks like the affordable care promised in the Affordable Care Act is about to become a lot less affordable.
Fresh problems for "Obamacare": The largest health insurer in Texas wants to raise its rates on individual policies by an average of nearly 60 percent, a new sign that President Barack Obama's overhaul hasn't solved the problem of price spikes. Texas isn't alone. Citing financial losses under the health care law, many insurers around the country are requesting bigger premium increases for 2017. That's to account for lower-than-hoped enrollment, sicker-than-expected customers and problems with the government's financial backstop for insurance markets.
This comes as no surprise to anyone who isn't an effeminate left-wing turdnugget (See: Obamacare Numbers Are Getting Worse and Worse.). The Affordable Care Act mandates insurance companies accept everyone, regardless of preexisting conditions.
Sidenote to the intellectually challenged: mandating an insurance company to cover you if you have a pre-existing condition? Not insurance. Think of it this way: you're involved in a fender bender. You want the dent fixed. But you don't have insurance. You cannot call AAA and demand they pay for your dent...because they weren't covering you when you dented it. See how that works?
Using the same analogy, Obama, more or less, held a gun to the head of the insurance companies and said "pay for the dent." Then, he held another gun to every citizen's head and said "buy the insurance." Then lied about affordability all the way to grandmother's house.
Fast forward to now. The insurance industry has too many sick people and not enough healthy people paying in to cover costs. Exactly as conservatives predicted...six years ago.
Rather than neener neener in your face, let's go macro here for a second. What better way to usher in a single-payer system than by crashing the insurance industry deliberately?
In this case, the insurance companies are the fat dude...
No, that's not a conspiracy theory. Obama admitted single-payer couldn't happen over night, but in stages (video). First he deceived the public. Well, he deceived some of the public. Plenty of us weren't stupid enough to fall for it. Those of you who were/are? Thanks for that. Anyway, the next stage is rising costs (we're seeing it). Turns out, no, you can't keep your doctor. Costs keep going up. ObamaCare will get to the point where the bureaucracy will reach such a fever pitch, the same ninnymuggins who demanded ObamaCare, will look to the same crapweasels (government) to fix it.
Perhaps I haven't made it clear enough, but you turdmongrels who look to government to solve all your problems? Even problems government created?
ObamaCare, by design, was meant to tank the insurance companies, thus leaving the door wide open for a single-payer system. Welcome to socialism, kids. Don't get sick.
