School Forbids Father-Daughter Dance. Claims 'Not Inclusive' Enough...

Courtney Kirchoff
May 06, 2016

You would think that there wouldn't be anything offensive about a Father-Daughter Dance. You would think, but that would require you not paying attention to just how ridiculous political correctness has gotten in this country.

So we take you to a South Carolina school...

Officials at a public elementary school in Columbia, S.C. have scuttled an annual father-daughter dance because a handful of parents complained that the event is not sufficiently “inclusive.” The principal at Brockman Elementary, Eunice M. Williams, and representatives of the school’s parent-teacher organization agreed to cancel the dance after the complaints arose. The exact number of complaints is unclear but it is “fewer than 10.”

“There were a few parents that did not think the father-daughter dance was inclusive, when actually, it was at all times,” school district spokeswoman Karen York told WIS-TV. “It was never an event that was exclusive to only fathers and daughters. Mothers and anyone else who wanted to show up at the dance were certainly welcome to attend.”

The saddest part? A vast majority of parents are upset that the dance was cancelled. But fewer than ten (probably only two) complained and it got ruined for everyone else.

So we're sorry little girl. That special evening with your daddy just got cancelled because your friends' parents are idiots. If not everyone has a daddy, if some mommies picked terrible fathers and those fathers are no longer around? You can't dance at school with your dad.

Yeah, that's the gist of it, people. Let's say two women here are miffed because what this dance symbolizes is how crappy they are at picking men. These mothers who protested protested because they look bad for not choosing a good father for their daughter. They don't want to have to tell their daughters, "Sorry babe, you can't have a father daughter dance because I had to leave him in the middle of the night." Or maybe even, "Your daddy's in prison."

Rather than celebrating fathers who ARE around, who love their daughters, what did these ladies do? Bully the school into canceling the event entirely. That's how the SJW movement operates. If they feel bad about something for any reason, they must eliminate it. Especially if that event makes other people happy. Happiness is not allowed.
