Pizza Delivery Guy Gets Christmas Miracle!
Usually when a pizza delivery guy hops on social media to talk about a tip, it's to complain. That's a thing now. Shaming people for paying what was on the receipt. Bastards. Bastardos for our Spanish readers.
This pizza delivery guy had something else to say entirely.
Louis was asked to come in a little earlier than usual to deliver the pizzas, and when he showed up at the church with the pies he was asked to bring one of the pizzas up to the pastor onstage. Confused, Louis said he was a little "weirded out," but he obliged."The most amazing thing happened," Louis said. "The whole church came up and gave me over $700 for a tip."
"This is truly amazing, you know, I've been having such a hard time lately. Just struggling to stay clean and everything and I'm just trying to get my life back" Louis added in the video as he was brought to tears.
The Pastor said that he was planning on just tipping him $100 for the holidays. Then the other members started to chip in.
There's a lot on social media about the "War" on Christmas (real or imagined). Seeing a story like this that sums up the true meaning of Christmas is a welcome change. It's a time to reflect, a time to be merry, and above all else, a time to be grateful. Sure, the world is hard and life isn't fair. But doesn't Christmas, even if only for a moment, take just a little bit of that hardness away? Doesn't it show us what the world could be if humanity always resorted to the best we have to offer, as opposed to the worst?
I'm not saying that it's realistic, but for a season, enjoy it. Don't muck it up.
Now if you'll excuse me, I think I have something in my eye.
