Rick Santorum Nails It: 'Not All Muslims Are Jihadists, but...'
Another GOP debate usually means another 85 hours of moderators asking the GOP candidates for their thoughts on pressing issues, like what their opinion was of Donald Trump saying a thing. So it's not surprising that they were asked about his recent comments about Muslims. What is surprising is that kiddie-table debate candidate Rick Santorum was the one who had the breakout answer...
What Donald Trump was saying was nothing against Muslims. What his comments was against this administration who doesn’t have a policy to properly vet people coming into this country. Let’s just be honest about what is being talked about here. I know people will pile on because it makes sense to pile on, maybe from the polls, but he brings up a legitimate issue. The fact of the matter is that not all Muslims are jihadists. No one — including I suspect Donald Trump would say that. But the reality is all jihadists are Muslims. That’s a reality, and we have to stop worrying about offending some people and start defending all Americans.
Yeah, he's totally right, which will obviously send leftists further into orbit (like this child Jihadi wanted to do with Obama, threatening him with a grenade launcher), their beliefs revolving around Pluto, probably debating whether or not it should or shouldn't be a planet. How does Pluto feel all alone out there? Leave it to leftist's. Oh, sorry, major digression. Let's get back to earth.
Santorum said something true, but not politically correct. Don't care. It's true. Political correctness is literally killing people right now, so it's always a big deep breath of oxygen to hear someone espousing truth. Trump's proposal to ban Muslims isn't practical (screening out a religion is a bit tough, wouldn't you say?) but the belief we have to take them out for an ice cream cone is ridiculous. It does beg the question of what kind of flavor they'd like, though, doesn't it? Rocky IED Road? Pralines and C4? Chunky Muhammad? Okay, done now...
Speaking of things that are not politically correct:
