Here's possibly the dumbest anti-gun, anti Second Amendment comment we've heard. In a long line of very, very unintelligent anti-Second Amendment comments. Democrat strategist, Julie Roginsky, argued against concealed carry because she herself "has no idea how to shoot anybody."

No, seriously. That's what she said. Let that set in. She doesn't want you to have the right to protect yourself, because she knows nothing about guns.

Michelle Malkin proceeded to smoke her.

“I’d want every grown woman in that room to also be trained and armed,” she said. “And I’m going to make sure my own daughter, who is now a teenager, understands that, of course, being armed in self-defense is the great equalizer whether you are talking about defending against a rapist or a jihadist.”

Malkin went on to claim that the “political culture and the media” are more comfortable demonizing law-abiding “Christian” gun owners than they are “jihadists that want to kill us by any means necessary.”

Thank you, Michelle Malkin. We've been talking about guns and the Second Amendment a lot here on LwC lately (read our full coverage here). That tends to happen when leftists launch an all out assault on both. But this comment from Roginsky illustrates just how clueless the left is on the right's gun positions.

No one is saying you should go running around with a gun without proper training, marksmanship, and respect for the firearm. Nobody. Do you know who typically doesn't go through the process of obtaining a conceal & carry permit in the United States?

See, this is a perfect example of someone on the left who quite literally (and self-admittedly) knows nothing about firearms nor the process required to purchase them. They've never been around people who've met the requirements to have a CCW. Sound off in the comments below, when you obtained your CCW, was the room filled with a bunch of yahoo's who didn't know the difference between a "safety" or trigger?

These people are the same people who perpetuate the "Gun show loophole" myth. It's nonexistent. Anyone who's ever bought a firearm at a firearm show knows the process required and has gone through it.

THERE IS NO "GUN SHOW LOOPHOLE."

Never has an activist group been so woefully uninformed as to be caught trotting out entirely debunked myths before they even speak (though #BlackLivesMatter comes a close second). Another point. Do you know who really, really doesn't want you, Julie Roginsky to be carrying a gun? Actual gun-owners. You won't find anybody more opposed to untrained idiots with guns, than trained, responsible firearm owners. So please don't be daft.
